Few things illustrate the increased levels of economic activity that characterizes today’s Jamaica as the following fact: More new companies were formed in Jamaica during 2022 than in any other year in our history….5,412 new companies!
This is up 11% on the previous year which was also a record!
To put the number in context, a decade ago only 2,000 new companies were being formed annually. A new Jamaica is emerging. We must do all that we can to preserve, maintain and build on this.
