The Lebanese Health Ministry just unwittingly demolished one of the most repeated claims about the war.
According to its own figures, 85% of those killed by Israeli strikes were male.
85%.
Lebanon's population is roughly 49% male and 51% female. If Israel were "indiscriminately bombing" the population, casualty demographics would look something like the population itself. They don't.
Children make up roughly a quarter of Lebanon's population. Yet they account for only about 7% of reported fatalities.
The overwhelming concentration of casualties is adult men in southern Lebanon and Nabatieh, Hezbollah's stronghold.
None of this makes civilian deaths any less tragic. But demographics matter.
An army randomly bombing a civilian population does not produce casualty figures that are 85% male. It does not produce child fatalities massively below their share of the population. It does not produce a casualty profile overwhelmingly concentrated in military-age men operating in the heartland of an Iranian-backed terrorist army.
The media has tried to sell you a lie that Israel is indiscriminately bombing Lebanon.
But Lebanon's own numbers tell a very different story.
(It's also important to note that the Lebanese Health Ministry, like the Hamas Health Ministry in Gaza, does not differentiate between civilians and combatants.)

Stop falling for the lies.
Once again, Mark Carney is being rolled out the red carpet at a Jewish synagogue while Jewish organizations line up to welcome him.
Instead of speaking at a synagogue, he should have been told to speak at the corner of Bathurst and Sheppard, the center of the Jewish community, on a Sunday at 12:00pm, so he could see exactly what his government has helped produce in this country and how much worse it will get if he refuses to confront the mass immigration problem that is fueling hate rallies like the one at Bathurst and Sheppard.
It is incredibly frustrating that some Jewish Organizations keep clapping for the Liberals’ empty “fight against antisemitism” theater when it clearly serves the Prime Minister’s political needs, not the safety or interests of the Jewish community?
The message is loud and clear: the government can push for a Palestinian state, call for the arrest of a democratic ally’s prime minister, and openly dismiss Jewish concerns, and still get a warm reception in our synagogues with zero real consequences.
No matter how many times Carney and the Liberals undermine Jewish interests, the same people will keep smiling, shaking hands, and giving them a platform.
Meanwhile, politicians know that crossing the Muslim community risks losing a large voting bloc.
With our Jewish community, they’ve learned they can do the opposite and still get invited back.
Carney will now announce some toothless “DEI council” wrapped in the usual “we’re fighting antisemitism and Islamophobia” packaging. It will be a powerless advisory body handed to Jewish organizational heads as a cheap symbolic gesture meant to shut down criticism.
It will change nothing, deliver nothing, and exist only to buy silence.
And yet we keep signaling that this is acceptable. How shameful. The status quo remains.
Tafsik will not attend. That synagogue should be empty.

One of the biggest historical lies ever sold to the world is the idea that the Arabs of the land “welcomed” Holocaust survivors into Israel.
They didn't.
The people who received the broken survivors of Europe were the Jews already living there. Jews with a continuous presence in Jerusalem, Safed, Tiberias, Hebron, and countless smaller communities long before modern “Palestinian nationalism” was even a thing. Jews who never left the land through centuries of Ottoman neglect, poverty, massacres, exile, and persecution. Jews who built neighborhoods, farms, schools, hospitals, and entire communities while much of the land remained underdeveloped swamps, malaria-infested zones, and barren land.
When Europe turned into a graveyard for 6 million Jews, it wasn't the Arab leadership organizing rescue networks. It was Jews.
Jews running Aliyah Bet operations under the nose of the British. Jews smuggling Holocaust survivors out of Europe on overcrowded ships. Jews forging documents, bribing officials, hiding refugees, and building underground immigration networks so survivors who had just escaped Hitler would not remain trapped in displaced persons camps forever.
And while this was happening, much of the Arab leadership in the region spent decades trying to stop Jews from entering at all.
The 1929 massacres saw ancient Jewish communities butchered in Hebron and elsewhere. The 1936-1939 Arab Revolt was focused mainly around violently opposing Jewish immigration and Jewish economic growth. And the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini, didn't just “oppose Zionism.” He openly aligned himself with Nazi Germany, met with Adolf Hitler, spread pro-Nazi propaganda across the Arab world, and opposed efforts to allow Jews fleeing Europe into the land.
At the very same time Jews were being hunted across Europe and blocked from safe haven, the Jewish communities already in the land were the ones building the foundations that would eventually absorb those survivors.
Jewish pioneers drained swamps, fought malaria, developed agriculture, built roads, ports, universities, hospitals, and cities while facing constant riots, shootings, massacres, and economic boycotts. The same people now portrayed as “colonizers” were buying land legally, cultivating it, and building functioning institutions while under attack.
Local Arabs were more than happy to sell much of this often neglected and difficult land to Jews willing to buy it, right up until Jewish development started transforming the region economically and structurally.
Then came 1947.
The Jews accepted partition. The Arab leadership rejected it outright.
They did not reject it because there was no Arab state offered. There was, they rejected it because even a tiny Jewish state alongside them was unacceptable.
The response was war.
First came civil war attacks on Jewish communities, roads, buses, and supply convoys. Then, in 1948, multiple Arab armies invaded with the openly declared goal of strangling the Jewish state at birth and driving the Jews into the sea.
So no, Israel was not created because Arabs compassionately opened their arms to Holocaust survivors.
Israel exists because Jews saved themselves when much of the world either wanted them dead, wanted them trapped, or simply didn't care.
The survivors who arrived were welcomed by fellow Jews already in the land. Jews who built, defended, smuggled, planted, fought, and buried their own long before 1948.

MANY LEFT SPEECHLESS: A youth session at this year’s Muslim Association of Canada convention involved a presentation with the words “Jew free” in what appeared to be one of the world goals it aspired to create in the future.
During one session, titled “Visionaries of the Ummah: Youth Activism Lab,” an ex-MAC director of education called Khaled Al-Qazzaz repeatedly praised al-Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.
Al-Qazzaz described al-Banna as “a pioneer” and said, “some of the scholars consider him one of the Mujaddidun of this past century, the one who revived Islam in this past century.”
The Muslim Association of Canada receives funding from the federal government, and is renowned for law fare antics around policing free speech, while in the privacy of their own conferences, is opening promoting a “Jew free” vision of the future.
How much longer must we keep tolerating the intolerable?

About That San Diego Mosque…

The Muslims at the San Diego mosque where two teenagers killed three people before killing themselves have been all over the airwaves, mourning their dead and insisting that a stop must be put to anti-Muslim sentiments expressed online. They would like us to forget that the two killers were beavis-and-butthead equal opportunity lunatics, who left behind written material showing that they were just as much antisemitic and anti-black as they were anti-Muslim. Noting that fact spoils the narrative of innocent Muslims who, we are expected to believe on the basis of this attack, are the main victims of “hate crimes” in America. Both the imam, and several of the mosque’s worshippers, have troubling histories, including financial support for two of the 9/11 hijackers, and praise for the “resistance” of the Hamas killers who carried out the atrocities on October 7, 2023.
Now the San Diego mosque will have had its fleeting place in the sun, with the imam giving television interviews, and mosque members telling us how they are still trying to “process” the attack, while local Christian and Jewish clergy will hasten to offer their support to their “Muslim brother and sisters,” while many politicians, and not only in California, will express their solidarity with the Muslims at the mosque, declaring over and over again that “hatred of Muslims has no place in America,” and vowing to provide more security for mosques. This will lead to more censoring online even of rational, measured, evidence-based criticism of Muslims and of Islam. Of course there will be the usual interfaith vigils. But when there are attacks on Jewish targets, including synagogues, no Muslims make statements in solidarity or join interfaith vigils.
Few in the media will take the occasion to point out that Muslims are far less likely to be the target of “hate crimes” than Jews or Christians. Jews make up 2% of the American population, but according to the FBI, 70% of all hate crimes are directed at Jews. Muslims make up 1.5% of the population, but 9% of the victims of hate crimes are Muslims. And who, in the wake of the three people killed at the mosque, including Amin Abdullah, the security guard, a revert to Islam whose former name was Brian Climax, will dare to point out the imam’s support for the Hamas attackers who swept into Israel on October 7, 2023, or note the mosque’s connection to two of the 9/11 hijackers?
