@Variety The show's own tag lines characterized her as "the most miserable person on earth"! And she was miserable BEFORE the event! And people talk about what dickheads Walter and Saul are ALL THE TIME and it's FINE because morally complex characters are FINE!
CAN WE NOT DO THIS
#Pluribus star #RheaSeehorn questions why fans complain that Carol Sturka is unlikable:
“Nobody asked that about Walter White,” she tells #BryanCranston. “Nobody asked that about Jimmy McGill: ‘What’s up with them being so unlikable?’ They were behaving in an honest way to the situation they were in.”
Cranston asks, “You think it’s a gender issue?”
Seehorn responds: “I don’t know. When people are like, ‘She’s so unlikable,’ I’m like, her wife’s dead; they killed her. Career’s done, might not ever be back. You may very well die alone and never speak to anybody again on a couch eating a frozen meal, watching ‘Golden Girls.’ There are no friends anymore, there’s no family and the world is saying, ‘We’re just waiting around until we can take your brain away.’ And she’s not polite about it.”

I once heard @patrickklepek say something like, "Skylar White being a bitch is nowhere in the text and it's just chuds being chuds," and are you fucking kidding me are we still doing this, on top of doing it again with Carol?
@warcrimenjoyer@dumbandfunn@slowsuns Yeah, clinging to the moon landing and jerking off about it is also cope. Everyone is at all times coping in some way.
she was right tho!!! the ussr won the space race on every single metric except for landing on the moon and yet the usa is considered the winner??? bullshit
@Veganandhorny69@Skye_Melissax Okay, so you either don't understand multivariate relationships, or you're pretending not to because your reasoning is motivated by your attachment to an already assumed conclusion of Metabolically Healthy Obesity / Healthy At Any Size movement propaganda.
@Veganandhorny69@Skye_Melissax But it's pretty well understood, mechanistically, that it *does* cause disease.
Correlation =\= causation is true per se, but it is also true that correlated phenomena often DO have a causal relationship.
A common anti-vegan argument is:
“Animals are animals—so we can eat them. Maybe factory farming is bad but not meat consumption inherently”.
To those with this opinion who are willing to genuinely engage in debate and see why vegans see this as problematic, this is for you.
@Veganandhorny69@Skye_Melissax Are these sincere questions, or are we just playing games here?
What is it you're actually getting at? What is your point of view at the root of this "argument"?
@Veganandhorny69@Skye_Melissax Do you mean to imply that there is no causal relationship between obesity and disease, and/or eating animals and obesity?
