@YuriyATL So maybe Morris's coaching wasn't so incompetent. A 500 coach in his first head coaching gig. Almost any brand new head coach would sign up for that. What if he was given a 3rd year to improve as a Head Coach after two years at 500. Would that have been out of the question? No.
Exacty. Michael Penix was 15th in yds per gm with a 7.2 YPA last season with a sh*t OC and a makeshift OL. For context, Justin Herbert had a 7.3 YPA in likely his best season of his career.
Penix: beat 2 top defenses, lost 3-4 games cuz of kickers, played with backups OL, shitty OC, doesn’t take sacks
Falcons fans who wants a white qb: no no he is not good, look at his completion percentage
@TuaMuse1 You are really beyond stupid. Tua was 26th in yds per game with a 6.8 YPA last season. Michael Penix as a 1st yr starting QB with a terrible OC was 15th in yds per game with a 7.2 YPA. For context, Justin Herbert had a 7.3 YPA in likely his best season of his career.

@929TheGame Stefanski was hired 1 week after Arthur Blank and Matt Ryan publicly committed to Penix as the franchise QB. What does that tell us? Tua was brought 2 months later because he was is also a lefty. What does that tell you?
Tua was never going to be QB1.
@BKsquared7 Strand was 6/12 for 50 yards against Denver's 3rd string defenders in preseason game 1. Everyone is now acting like that didn't happen because Strand balled out against the Colts 3rd string defense. So did Cooper Rush. BTW, the Colts were 23rd in the league last season.
@falconshateme Why is nobody asking if the NY Giants want to trade for Shedeur? Jaxson Dart was 32nd in the league in yards per game and had an 6.7 YPA last season. Michael Penix was 15th in ypg with a 7.2 YPA. For context, Justin Herbert had 7.3 YPA in likely his best season of his career.

@680TheFan We want the continued development of our 1st round draft pick and QB1, Michael Penix.

@RiseUpReader@SteveInBrooklyn Tua is making the roster no matter what. He was signed because he is a lefty. Meaning he was signed to back up Michael Penix. Meaning from Matt Ryan and Arthur Blank on down Michael Penix was intended to be the starter all along.
But I have Falcons fans telling me MPJ can’t make certain throws on the football field….. my qb1 is who the wr’s have the most confidence in on this team! Start Penix period! #dirtybirds
@FalconsTribeAtl I don't necessarily want to see Penix play until he gets a few weeks of 11v11. He's still got to redevelop an instinctual ability to protect himself based on pocket awareness of the pass rush. That takes a bit more time since he hasn't done it T all since last November.
@YuriyATL And Penix was still 15th in yards per game with sorry Zach Robinson calling plays. Tua was 26th last season with Waddle and Tyreek Hill in a Mike McDaniels offense.
@FatboiSlim_21 The organization ans Matt Ryan signed Tua because he was a lefty just like Penix. Receivers adjusting to a different ball spin is a real thing in football. That means Tua was all along and is still intended to be the backup to Penix.
