Certain pieces of storytelling leave you with an euphoric feeling of 'WTH did I just watch' after the credits roll. HOTD S3E2 gave me exactly that. Battle of the Gullet (S3E1) was top drawer, this one was downright sensational. Happy to see it's resonated with a lot of fans too. Queen's Landing (what a fitting title!) is now rated 9.4 on IMDb, making it the highest rated among all 20 HOTD episodes & deservedly so. Absolute cookage!
- Peak Daemon at his best with his swag, actions & performance
- The most satisfying death of Otto Hightower
- Emma D'Arcy with the performance of a lifetime as Rhaenyra. The show begun & ended with her. The way she breaks down seeing Jace was chilling, reminding of Nayagan Kamal breaking down on seeing 'Choorya' & the episode finishing off with her sitting the Iron Throne. Enna oru acting!
- As always, the Prince That Was Promised, Ramin Djawadi with a score that's pure GOAT territory. When the chord progresses, your heart pierces.
Not merely HOTD, this was one of the best episodes in the GOT universe. Definitely watching again & again. #EmmyForEmma #RaminGoatwadi
