Plant one tree each month & nurture it, to #saveourplanet
If we all do this, that's 1 trillion new trees by 2030, which will absorb >500 billion tons of carbon emissions leading to:
1️⃣ More rainfall & fertile lands
2️⃣ Food security
3️⃣ Greater biodiversity

Big Oil raked in record-breaking profits. The companies that caused the climate crisis are getting rich as they fuel the fire.
@ExxonMobil: $55.7 billion
@Shell: $39.87 billion
@Chevron: $35.5 billion
@BP_plc: $27.7 billion
Time to make the pay for the damage they've caused.
Dear Humanity, #ClimateChange threatens our existence.
If we don't act soon there'll be catastrophic biodiversity loss & untold amounts of human misery.
Time's running out.

China is installing a record amount of solar - including over 2.4 million homes being given a solar upgrade: https://t.co/S9LSyTKocr.

Dear #ClimateChange deniers and bots
Over 99% scientist agree that #climatechange is happening and it is due to human greenhouse gas emissions
Stop telling everyone there is disagreement - as there is none!

The Amazon rainforest is home to over 3 million animal species. It stores 4x as much CO2 as the earth emits in a year. Losing the Amazon means losing to climate change.
We must protect the Amazon and the world's vital forests. #ActOnClimate#climate#biodiversity#SDGs
I am deeply concerned by the slow progress and lack of media updates in the search for Ashlay Nyaboke, a 12 year old sixth grader who was swept by floods three days ago. Is it due to a lack of funds and equipment, or is it negligence on the part of those responsible for the search efforts? We need all hands on deck to bring Ashlay back home to her family! Comb the river, search mortuaries check hospitals records and HELP FIND ASHLAY!
Meanwhile I call on the Kenyan Defense Forces to step in and help relocate residents living along the river to higher ground. KDF has the necessary resources and expertise to carry out such an operation effectively and efficiently.
The government must take swift action to prevent further loss of life. Protecting human life should always be a top priority, and it is essential that necessary measures are taken to prevent such tragedies from happening again.

Please plant trees on pavements or anywhere you can find a spot. You can plant a tree in memory of someone. It will always be there in memory of that person. Imagine looking at a green surrounding. It could become so beautiful.
