Whatever you’re feeling right now, remember that you are not alone. It’s okay to feel scared or anxious or sad. But remember: hope is defiant. And love is still the most powerful force on the planet. If you’re struggling to believe that right now, you can reach out for help.
Please stop:
- minimizing the struggle of people living with mental illness
- using mental illnesses as adjectives
- feeding the stigma by spreading unsupported (by science) ideas/facts
- not taking mental health/ mental illness as seriously as physical illnesses
