The cost of living has tripled at least & 10-15x in most cases while wages haven’t even doubled for most people in a timespan of 35 years. There is no way the average American can keep up with the cost of living & inflation.
To get ahead in most households today both people in the relationship will have to work to chip in. This isn’t the 60-90s anymore where you can feed an entire family on factory worker income. If you’re making average money & want to build wealth and you’re with someone who isn’t willing to take on some financial responsibility you’ll never get ahead. This is why “50/50” arguments are silly lol.
Our parents, grandparents, uncles weren’t better providers than men are today, they just lived in a more affordable & simpler society. Even though they made less, they were able to save more after expenses.
sexual attraction is important to me in a relationship, idk. i want you to look at me and wanna fornicate at any given time or place. if not, you’re not for me.
