@AHuntersLegacy And with that, Maya steps out into the air in front of her.
And it’s like she’s still on the ground. Not letting go of Ray’s hand, she continues out over the slightly curved surface of...something?
@AHuntersLegacy Maya chuckles, rolling her eyes. “Only the ones I like!” She replies to her, raising her voice over the wind.
Placing her fingers to the side of her forehead, she looks out to the sky, before turning back to Rayna. “Do you trust me?” She says, taking her hand.
@AHuntersLegacy She pauses. “...a word.” She mumbles, biting her lip as her gaze falls down to her legs. A few thoughts roll through her mind that’d be best not spoken out loud, before she turns to the balcony, almost expectantly.
“It’s definitely a win. Now come on.” She says, climbing over -
@AHuntersLegacy Maya gives a soft chuckle, moving forward to press a kiss to her cheek. “Good. And I may have lied about the whole prototype thing to get you here.” She adds sheepishly, before turning her attention to Rayna’s dress.
And wow, she knew she’d look good but she didn’t expect -
@AHuntersLegacy -to approach before turning, offering a soft smile and tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear, timidly looking to the side. “You like the outfit?”
@AHuntersLegacy -bun behind her head with a red pin, which was matched by her form fitting crimson dress that left her shoulders and midriff bare, and was adorned with patterns of striking golden flowers, topped off with a red rose sticking out from the front of her hair.
Maya waits for her -
@AHuntersLegacy “I am sorry, that is confidential. And I’d rather not say it in front of a guest.” He replies, rather cryptically. He knows all, it seems. Regardless, they’ve arrived at Maya’s building, where they’d stop and Sato would quickly move to open Rayna’s door. “I trust you remember -
@AHuntersLegacy “Today? The Hantā-owned five star hotel, the Crimson Dusk.” Sato says, playing up the moment. “But first, Maya wanted you to visit the Hantā building again.”
@AHuntersLegacy “Oh, you do? I am glad.” He replies, almost like he knows something more than she does. Regardless, he gives a nod. “How was the dinner last night?”
@AHuntersLegacy Of course, Mr Sato’s in the driver’s seat. “It is nice to see you again. Miss Hantā seems really fond of you.” The older man comments sincerely, starting the engine up and heading off.
@FinnishHer Maya nods, taking a moment to twirl the weapons in her hands, getting used to their unique weighting and feel.
Once she’s done, as NiCO requested, they go right back into the suitcase. “Can they be modified?”
This was a little new to the young Hantā. She’d never outsourced weapons production to another organisation before. It brought a level of insecurity to her; not in her own actions, but in the trustworthiness of the company she’d organised the endeavour from.
That - @FinnishHer
