He raised the beer to her before taking his first drink of the night.

“Two beers for me and the bartender.

One of those odd jobs went well I can pay for a couple of drinks.”

He sits the bag beside the truck and pops the hood. The fix would be a simple hose replacement but since he already had the hood up wouldn’t hurt to do a little maintenance.
