Insurance policy always works on raising a claim within policy period. Any required documents can be an iterative process.
A friend paid almost 25% of phone value to opt insurance to realize no services.

I took a mobile insurance plan for 24 months and didn't get proper service on claim registration. Service was initially denied due to unavailability of apple swap note and it took me a hell lot of effort to get a swap letter from the apple authorized center.

Worst customer service from policy agent and care suppport. Its been 10 days payment is made.
I see multiple proposal no. with acceptance on Care Advantage plan but till now policy is not issued.
I have DM all details but still no progress.

Ideally policy should have been issued for care advantage plan which has not happened as of now.
