Sons worrying about their father’s health is fair. Cricketers asking for humane treatment are right. Nothing against them.
But Sky and @Athersmike should also say why he is in jail. #ImranKhan has been convicted in the Toshakhana state-gifts cases and the Al-Qadir Trust case, land linked to the £190m returned from the UK over billionaire Malik Riaz.
The May 2023 cases are still before anti-terror courts after his arrest, #PTI supporters attacked military sites, including GHQ and the Lahore Corps Commander’s house, which was burned.
The UK banned Palestine Action after activists broke into RAF Brize Norton and damaged aircraft. Membership or support can mean up to 14 years. Attacks on military installations are not ordinary protest in Britain or in Pakistan.
Medical care should be guaranteed. That does not erase the convictions or 9 May. Lord’s is not a court.

@Irves_Watch He is paying the price of being a Ghunda not an officer. Most likely institution will save their men but this will only bring more resentment against them in general public.
If they didn’t try him for misconduct then tomorrow more officers will face the same reaction in public
