name a single $599 windows laptop that has all that.
even better, name a $599 windows laptop that has the MacBook Neo’s performance, efficiency, build quality, display quality, and an OS that isn’t full of bloat and ads.
then we can talk.
@jmwilt21 The main reason I'd probably buy the neo over the M1 MBA is because they will support it for a lot longer. If it weren't for that, the M1 is the better machine
@TheGalox_ In my opinion, this machine should absolutely be able to handle anything 90% of people want to do. My main machine for the past few months has been the base model iPad, and even with light photo and video editing I've not felt it slow down any. And it has an A16 chip and 6GB RAM
@jmwilt21@SarahBurssty I like the Chromebooks that support installing Android apps (not all of them do). The ones that don't are paperweights if you don't have Internet
@jmwilt21 That's the one thing I think they could've done differently. It weighs the same as the Mba. They easily could've pulled off a device as thin and light as the 12" since it's using an iPhone chip
Holy cow.. I can't believe Apple finally did it, a MacBook for the masses. I had always wished they'd bring back something akin to the old 12" MacBook
Now I feel horrible for buying a brand new iPad and magic keyboard two months ago 🫠
Like Google, with the Pixel. They took away our unlimited photo backups but make it a thorn in your ass if you don't pay for cloud storage and significantly degrade the experience... I literally just want to store my stuff on my device itself. Even Apple makes it way easier
My biggest problem with companies forcing us to pay for cloud storage is that they're making it a huge pain in the ass to just locally store things on your device storage...
I’ve gotta say the deep blue on the iPhone 17 Pros looks super clean. Best blue pro iPhone they’ve made since the 12 Pro pacific blue (which I owned, and ironically was the worst iPhone experience I’ve ever had)
