I think of it like poker, BRs like Apex have luck involved which means lower skilled players can get lucky and enjoy. Just like in poker, the best poker player in the world could lose to a lucky noob. More noobs = more players keeps the game alive.

No noob is ever getting lucky in Quake. Game is raw skill, and this has ended up sadly in its downfall.

@Angel_foxxo For me I find that models stand out more at a distance on bilinear/trilinear because the floors/walls have less detail so I much prefer it.
