Ontario PD will host a press conference at Ontario City Hall, 303 E B St, Ontario, at 11:30 AM tomorrow regarding the arrest of two suspects involved in the 2021 homicide of Jesus Sanchez. Please see attached flyer for more information.
Officers on scene determined that a group of people ran through the mall, which caused alarm. Ontario Dispatch then received multiple calls claiming a person had a gun and gun shots were heard. It has been determined that there was no gun or shots fired. We will continue to investigate the false claims and hold those persons accountable. The Ontario Mills Mall is safe and has resumed business as normal. #sceneissafe #falsereports

#4thStIC- Our search efforts for the missing victims have continued from the air and ground since last week. Through those efforts we have located a deceased victim today. The coroner’s officer is working to identify the victim and will be making the appropriate notifications.
We are happy to announce that on October 8th, 2022, from 0900-1300 we will be hosting our very first Open House here at the station. During the open house we will be conducting station tours, display various equipment, provide K9 demonstrations, and feature our specialized units.
I couldn’t be more proud of the @OntarioPD Honor Guard for being recognized with the distinguished Golden Boot Award. @laurajherzog presented the award tonight at the Honoring our Fallen Gala. We will never forget those who gave all for our freedom.
Last night Chief Mike Lorenz kicked off another Ontario Police Department Citizen’s Academy. We love our relationship with our community, and we are happy to see the number of people who are participating in the program!!
