@FonzyLopez1 @JeremiahmMcLane @HeadThomp_ But you can already change your appearance in the game without the dlc item. It's the same as it was in Skyrim, visit the NPC, pay a fee and get it changed. The funny thing is people complaining about it didn't play far enough to make it to the first city, so they don't know.

You aren't meant to have any of that from the beginning anyways! It's the idiot tax and nothing else. Still bad, don't get me wrong.

@JakLevv @HeadThomp_ The design wasn't made around mtx though, why do you assume it was? They didn't give you 110% difficulty so you can mitigate it by 10% via mtx, they gave you how it was meant to be, so you can shit in it via max if you want. You aren't SUPPOSED to have all that stuff at lvl 1.

No, they just dun goofed and forgot about new game stuff, you can't pay for it either so it's not an intentional design to push mtx. Some people straight out started lying about this shit and it's getting annoying.

@uncomfybrain @TweetingGaruga What normal game? We're sadly past the point where mtx is the norm. Helldivers 2 has season pass, Infinite Wealth had Ng+ paywalled, ff7 has 4 different versions for dlc additions. I don't support mtx in any game, but we're way past that, dd2 mtx is nothing compared to the rest.

But compared to LAD:IW and MHW, it's very mild. The issue is most people complaining about mtx don't have your mentality, they think it's p2w and paywall so they review bomb.

I had 3M rift crystals in ddda, didn't even have any way to spend them, so people who purchase 2500 are just losing on the experience and money. Dd2 isn't designed around the mtx, it was a corpo afterthought.

@MelissaKampers @VRToo1707 @DragonsDogma Nothing is behind a pay wall, if you want to see a pay wall, check out Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. The only things you CAN'T get in game are the sounds and the alternative camping kit(camps are still there). Yes, it was dumb of them to forget the new game option, but chill.

@macacoelastico @TweetingGaruga For how long have you played the game, or the first one? Nothing is mtx bound gameplay wise. You really don't have to pay the idiot tax to play this game. Yes, it would've been better if they didn't have any at all except the preorder stuff, but god damn.

Nothing is designed to sell you more, this is not a gacha game situation. You can get all the mtx options*10 in a single play through. I hope you made the same amount of noise when LAD:IW came out.
