@Drive_4_5@BrettKollmann@MarkWarren_39 With that technique he wants to go short and into the core. Longer length would actually make that less effective as the more length your arms extend the more force that gets wasted before impact.
@Drive_4_5@BrettKollmann@MarkWarren_39 Baines timing is slightly off on every punch and instead of being able to get into mims core like he wants so he can bull rush him, mims keeps deflecting his punches and moving him around.
Length wouldn't help with that as baines using a power rush technique.
@_j_thompson@BrettKollmann However the overall game plan is the same one kyle used last year. Limit the amount of times the rams offense has the ball, bleed clock, and grind the game out that way to stop stafford and CO from absolutely killing them.
@_j_thompson@BrettKollmann Their handling myles in ways beyond just the ball control such as a plethora of chips, and also the fact trent williams stoned him a few times one on one by anchoring against the ball rush and not giving an inch.
@_j_thompson@BrettKollmann Which would make sense if the niners hadn't done this exact same thing last year when they played them for the same reason.
The point of ball control isn't to reduce the impact of the pass rush, it's to keep the ball out of staffords hands by limiting the possessions.
@IHNYC3@sseilover@TheAthletic@nytimes@TheAthleticNFL So basically unless you're good enough to be a pro bowler you won't be getting the incentive for.....playing good enough to be a pro bowler?
Cool. That's how that should have been working.
@Jbird582510@halocheesehead@BrettKollmann If you want to keep going on about production your welcome to. I'm just going to keep doing the same response as well and we never get anywhere.
Because I don't care about production right now. This isn't a fantasy ranking, it's a player talent ranking done by ESPN yearly.
@Jbird582510@halocheesehead@BrettKollmann If a list drawing on coaches opinions has JJ average out to 2nd WR in the league, with some having him as high as the best. Then I'm not going to go "Well production means he's not that."
I'm going to go "Well their clearly ignoring the down year so i'm going to as well."
@Jbird582510@halocheesehead@BrettKollmann If the list itself already ignores his production why should I factor it in when questioning why someone had him as the fifth best WR. In fact 70% of the votes he got from coaches had him ranked 1 or 2.
So the league itself doesn't agree with you either.
@Jbird582510@halocheesehead@BrettKollmann And before you say it i'm aware JJ didn't get an all pro nod last year. However he was considered the 2nd best WR by the list we're arguing about over people who did get an all pro.
Now you're welcome to keep screaming at me about production but you're wasting your time.
