As much as I hated to leave RI and the election...getting to vote for the nation's first openly lesbian governor and another woman LG...and for "the millionaire's tax"...pretty great.
Before the next election, you might want to find a better way to poll anyone under the age of 30 since they would rather pick up a pinless grenade than a call from an unknown number.
Now that the electionโs over, letโs remember that the healthcare system is in crisis, poverty is wrecking families across our state, state agencies from DCYF to DHS to RIPTA are collapsing, the price of housing is strangling families, and so many other problems remain unsolved.
