President, Indian Cultural Association of North America, Sri Vadha Samnayak said, "I have been associated with Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh for many years and have been an RSS Swayamsevak since childhood. We are heading to Madison Square Garden to listen to Mohan Bhagwat ji speak about HSS, Bharat, world NGOs, and the activities of the RSS centered around the universal message of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.'This is a historic opportunity. Just as Swami Vivekananda arrived in Chicago 133 years ago in September 1893 to address the World’s Parliament of Religions, opening the door for Western countries to understand Sanatana Dharma and Hinduism, Mohan Bhagwat ji will deliver an address explaining what the RSS stands for and the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. This gathering is part of the global celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the RSS."

VIDEO | New York: Ahead of RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s address, members of the Indian diaspora gather at the Hindu Temple.
Dr Jayshree Nayar, a scientist and one of the members' of the diaspora said, "We have gathered here to go to Madison Square Garden to listen to Mohan Bhagwat ji as part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the RSS. Historically, there have been many misconceptions surrounding Hinduism, Hindutva, India, and our civilisation, largely because our history was portrayed through foreign perspectives that degraded our culture. RSS and HSS are character-building and discipline-oriented organisations that foster mental, physical, and spiritual development through shakha (branch) activities. Mohan Bhagwat ji's address provides a key opportunity to clarify what Hinduism stands for and to share our guiding philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, that the entire world is one family where we support one another. We are excited to hear him dispel long-standing misconceptions."

AN OPEN INVITATION TO ALL - COME, LISTEN, THEN JUDGE
🌼 World Universal Oneness Celebration - August 29, 2026 | New York City 🌼
133 years ago, in 1893, Chicago gave one Indian monk - Swami Vivekananda - a platform. He had only 5 minutes. He began with "Sisters and Brothers of America" and introduced the world to Hindu Dharma, to tolerance, to universal acceptance, to the truth that all paths lead to the same Divine.
America listened. And America understood.
Today, that same America gives us another opportunity to listen.
On August 29, 2026, the world's largest volunteer social organization, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), which is celebrating 100 years of selfless service to the nation and society, is in New York. Its Sarsanghchalak, Mananiya Shri Mohan Bhagwat Ji, will address the Universal Oneness gathering.
To the critics of RSS, to those who oppose RSS, to those who have questions about RSS - We humbly invite you:
Please come.
Come and listen directly. Not through headlines, not through social media, not through second-hand narratives.
Come and hear what this 100-year-old organization actually stands for. Hear about Seva, Sanskar, Sangathan. Hear about Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - The World is One Family.
Listen to Mananiya Mohan Bhagwat Ji in person. Understand the ideology, the work, the vision of an Akhand, self-reliant, inclusive Bharat that embraces all.
And after you listen - with your own ears, with an open mind - then criticize if you must. Debate if you must. That is the true spirit of democracy that both America and India cherish. That is the spirit of Swami Vivekananda.
Swami Vivekananda asked for tolerance. Tolerance means giving space to listen, even to those you disagree with.
Let us not close our doors before we open our ears.
All are welcome. Let's celebrate Universal Oneness together.
Venue: New York City | August 29, 2026 | 100th Year of RSS
Warm Regards,
