💢 Israeli Forces Demolish Lebanese Villages “Like Gaza,” Kill Four in Raid as Rockets Hit Northern Israel

Lebanese Civil Defence teams recovered four bodies and rescued three wounded people following an Israeli raid in the Qadmus area of southern Lebanon, the country’s official National News Agency reported in the past hour.

Israel’s Channel 12 said 20 rockets were launched from Lebanon toward the Galilee region in northern Israel this morning, with some intercepted and others landing in open areas. Air raid sirens sounded in Manara and Kiryat Shmona.

Meanwhile, Haaretz reported that Israeli forces are demolishing villages in southern Lebanon using methods described internally as identical to those deployed in Gaza. “We’re behaving just like we did in Gaza,” one army source told the paper. “There’s a list of homes to be demolished, and we measure success based on the number of buildings destroyed in a day.”

Bulldozers are razing villages near the border fence to clear land for new military outposts, Haaretz added. A combat soldier told the paper the new structures appear to be permanent — reinforcing what analysts and Lebanese officials have warned is a long-term Israeli land seizure in the south.
