Dear Nigerian church, how long will it take before you all come together and raise spiritual opposition against this man?
Our forebears did so against Abacha, to the point that he was famously said to have told Buhari:
“As long as those Christians are praying their prayers, you can never be president.”
Where is the fire your ancestors burned with?
Where is the unity of faith that kept the darkness away from our land, our nation?
Why is it so difficult, despite the carnage this man has brought upon your church, your flock, and your beloved nation, to stand against him in collective prayer?
He has taken over your commonwealth.
Your children will pay debts in trillions of naira that he has incurred to fund his extravagant indulgences.
His presidential fleet has 10 aircraft. 10. Maintenance costs around ₦26 billion per year.
₦38 million was released for capital expenditure for health.
He has removed the subsidy that lowered the cost of fuel, which powers your daily lives.
He is saving trillions of naira yearly, yet he is now on track to become the top borrower in Nigeria’s history.
Your future is being sold, while his children, like Seyi Tinubu, wear Richard Mille watches that cost ₦348 million.
Remember, ₦38 million was released by his father for capital expenditure for health.
Should we talk about the ₦16 trillion in unbid contracts he has allegedly given to his associate, Chagoury?
Now let’s leave his fiscal corruption.
He is a Muslim who ran with another Muslim and has now turned a blind eye to the killing of your Christian flock.
How much blood of believers must be spilled before you all come together and pray against this man?
How many mothers must cry for sons who will never return?
How many children must Rev. Dachomo bury before you wake up from slumber and declare spiritual warfare against a man who has, in your view, declared spiritual, physical, economic, and religious warfare against you?
His Chief of Defence Staff has referred to the terrorists killing your children, slaughtering your pastors, kidnapping your priests, burning your churches, and raping your daughters as their brothers.
They consider these terrorists their brothers and children.
His armed forces salute Sheikh Gumi, a spokesman for terrorists.
Did you see what he did in Jos? He paid a visit to the victims but did not leave the airport.
He said they had no power supply, and that he could only offer his condolences.
Remember, he once said Nigerians should vote him out if he failed to provide electricity in his first term.
That was it.
So when are you going to consider him deserving of spiritual opposition?
Is it because the carnage has not yet reached your beloved Lagos and Abuja ministries?
Is it because no bomb has exploded in a major church in Ikeja?
Do you think you are safe in these big cities of yours?
Esther thought she was safe in the citadel while the Jews were being marked for death in the city.
Mordecai quickly woke her from that delusion, because Haman, the genocidal enemy of the Jews, had already set his plans in motion.
What are you going to do about Tinubu?
God is watching you, all leaders who have millions of Christians in your care.
You will account for their blood.
If you drink milk from the flock and make wool clothing from the sheep, should you not also protect the flock from the wolves?
See what the Bible says about this:
“Woe to the shepherds of Israel who only take care of themselves.
Should not shepherds take care of the flock? You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not take care of the flock.
You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured.
You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally.”
Ezekiel 34:2-4
God is watching you. God is watching us as we remain silent while His people suffer.
You are the leaders of the body of Christ, fight for her.
God is watching.
Pastor Chris that God used to heal Esama of Benin is the one you are saying he is arranging miracles ?
Do you know who pastor Chris is ? Don’t let your mouth make you sin . At times just unlook if you don’t understand.
It is okay to ask questions but when you start calling a man of God charlatan , false , you better be correct .
God doesn’t joke with false witnessing .
The realm of the spirit doesn’t play with words .
I have followed the ministry of pastor Chris since the days of DBN . This is 1996 . I volunteered in the healing school at oregun as a medical student in 2003 -2005 . I saw many astounding things .
As a medical student, I clerked the sick before they went in to be prayed for . We did abdominal exams , checked reports , scans and after pastor would pray , many would be healed .
You will just be hearing “ OUT , OUT ! Come out of her ! Healed ! And holy commotion would erupt in the healing auditorium.
I can’t see what people are saying and keep quiet . It would be sin .
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD carries a heavy healing grace !
This is without question !
Aaaah !
@the_beardedsina Who said they were crippled? You pandered to the narrative of the random guy that posted this and created a straw man here.
The caption clearly states "..on the stretcher". Somebody obviously wants to pull traction & consciously rephrases. This thread doesn't disprove the video
WATCH THIS VIDEO AND HEAR ME OUT IN TWO (PERSONAL) STORIES
My wife has not been able to get the indigeneship certificate from her actual state of origin. Why. Because she converted to Christianity. Yes. Sokoto state has denied her the so-called "state of origin certificate," despite many efforts.
In fact, after our wedding, I insisted that she try again. She traveled up to Sokoto, spent a full week there and came back empty handed. They refused to issue her the certificate.
Today, her state of origin certificate is from my state, not her father's state. Again, I'll remind you why: because she converted to Christianity. They told her in clear and plain terms. They re-emphasized it in the Hausa language at the office in Sokoto, to make it crystal clear. They were not going to issue her the certificate because she is a Christian.
So, a few months after our wedding, 17 years ago, she was admitted to the Nigerian Law School (NLS). We heard that Sokoto state gave out 500,000 Naira and a laptop to each indigene of the state who got admitted to the NLS. But my wife almost missed resumption because we could not raise 240,000 Naira to pay her fees. We had just married, but wedding aside, I was normally and naturally broke. But then, by a 'miracle', we managed to raise the fee a day to the closing date of registration.
Story two:
While I was in Unijos, I knew Christian students from Bauchi state who were constantly denied their state's bursary, because, you guessed it, they are Christians. The scholarship board would somehow omit their names from the approved bursary list. They can tell that you're a Christian just by your name, even without ever meeting/knowing you.
So, when the affected students appealed, the state's student association would encourage them to go and file a complaint. Usually, after a lot of back and forth, and traveling back to Bauchi to report the omission, traveling to their local government to obtain validation letters and then providing proof on indigeneship, 1. They would have spent about the equivalent of the bursary amount on logistics and transportation. 2. They would finally be told that the year's bursary program had ended, and that they should wait for the following year. The following year, the same “omission mistake” would happen. Rinse and repeat.
Therefore, while thy government agency and the officials in charge would never tell them that they were being victimized because of their Christian faith, both sides of the drama knew. It was just a power play and the Christians could do nothing about it.
Those brethren went through this ordeal and graduated, never receiving this statutory benefit from their state, even though they qualified for it. Their only offense was that they were in the wrong religion.
Time would fail me to multiply these stories.
There has been a systematic, systemic assault on Christians and Christianity in these parts. What you hear in the attached video is the normal experience of many Christians who happen to be minorities in their state. The genocide dimension is simply one segment of an elaborate, diabolical, subjugation project.
It has only been getting worse.
But it has to stop!
2027 ELECTION PREDICTION
REASONING: We need a government, at least, and first of all, at the centre – that is willing and able to protect and secure 'we the people'.
PREDICTION: However, truth is, without electoral reforms, like, without key changes to the current electoral laws, the next general election will just be a waste of everybody's time. THEY will make INEC announce whatever THEY like, & the courts will do whatever the same 'THEY', ie, the same earlier THEY, want. Because, INEC, now captured and defanged will be a sissy, while the courts – gagged and captured – will be a lousy Parrot.
INTERPRETATION: Getting the elections right is critical since Nigeria is not capable of an actual revolution. Our votes are our only instrument of protest & revolt. If our votes don't count, we are utterly useless, irrelevant for all purposes of self determination and democratic action. Inconsequential.
What changes then, must be made..?
You see the way they are kissing, smooching, having oral sex and maybe even sex in this current BBNaija right?
Good. You know this isn’t of God nor His Spirit. You know you wouldn’t seat with Jesus and watch it. You know you wouldn’t seat with your pastor and watch it.
It is corrosive to your soul. It is immoral. It is filth. But you still watch it. Why not stop?
You think it’s not affecting you? It is. It’s planted seeds of immorality. It’s conditioning you to be more tolerant of sin.
Satan is smart. Please, stop consuming his delicacy. Wean yourself off this poison. Please. Be holy. You’re a woman and man of God.
God bless you. Amen.
The Cross Still Offends
The bullet tore the air in half.
A folding chair rattled. A Bible dropped. A young man slumped sideways beneath a white event tent, eyes wide with the weight of eternity.
It was supposed to be a conversation. A “prove me wrong” segment. But this time, rebuttal came not with words, but with a rifle.
Charlie Kirk didn’t get to finish his sentence.
I got the news just before prayer meeting. I contemplated this death as I prepared to lead the saints in prayer. But I didn’t feel like praying. Not tonight. My hands were still. My mouth was ready. But my soul was pacing. Angry. Grieving. Tempted.
Tempted to grow quiet.
Tempted to sit this one out.
Tempted to wonder if any of this, faith, boldness, public gospel witness, is still worth it.
Because hatred in this country isn’t simmering anymore. It is boiling.
Europe is trembling. Israel is burning. Rockets lit the sky over Gaza again. And now, here on American soil, the blood of a Christian apologist paints the pavement of a university quad.
What do you do with that?
What do you say when courage gets gunned down in daylight?
Charlie Kirk was no perfect man. None of us are.
But he had backbone where most of us don’t anymore. He was a believer. Unashamed. Unafraid. He understood that real conversations only happen when truth is welcome at the table. And the truth he carried most was Christ.
He brought the gospel into public space on purpose. Because the gospel isn’t supposed to stay in church basements and private Bible studies. It is meant to confront. It is supposed to offend. It was not made for safety.
The Word became flesh and they nailed Him to a tree.
So of course they came for Charlie.
Of course they reached for a gun.
This is what evil does when it runs out of arguments. It doesn’t reason. It kills.
That’s the part that catches in my throat. Not just the sadness, but the strategy of hell behind it.
The Enemy wants us afraid.
He wants us to see what happened to Charlie and backpedal.
He wants the rest of us to whisper, to soften the message, to believe the lie that faith should stay private.
But Christ never whispered.
He preached in temples, on hillsides, in courtrooms, at dinner tables.
And when they told Him to be quiet, He picked up His cross.
Not a symbolic one.
A real one.
Heavy. Bloody. Splintered.
When Jesus said, “Follow Me,” He didn’t hand out maps. He handed out crosses.
That’s what I remembered tonight.
I sat in our prayer space, surrounded by saints who had brought prayer lists and worn Bibles. And I realized I didn’t want to lead them in mourning. I didn’t want to lead them in mourning. I wanted to lead them into battle. Not with banners or fists, but with open Bibles and tear-stained prayers.
The kind of war that kneels in gravel beside the wounded, hands them living water, and refuses to leave. The kind that speaks both mercy and judgment without flinching. The kind Charlie died for.
This world is not a friend to grace. But grace isn’t fragile.
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?”
Paul didn’t leave that question unanswered.
“Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?”
—Romans 8:35
He piles up every fear you and I carry and then sets them on fire.
“No. In all these things we are more than conquerors.”
That means bullets don’t win. Slander doesn’t win. Prison bars don’t win. Death doesn’t win.
You can lose everything in this world and still walk into glory with your head lifted high. Because the love of God in Christ Jesus isn’t suspended by headlines or gunfire.
There are two worlds unfolding right now.
The one you see.
And the one you don’t.
One is filled with chaos. The other is filled with crowns.
I believe that when Charlie Kirk’s body slumped to the concrete, his soul stood upright in heaven. Not limping. Not silenced. Not stunned. But crowned.
He didn’t fall.
He crossed.
The great cloud of witnesses gained another voice.
And I wonder if Stephen met him there.
The first martyr.
The man who got stoned for preaching what the crowd didn’t want to hear.
The man who, in his final breath, saw the heavens open.
The only time in all of Scripture we see Jesus standing at the right hand of God, rising to receive one of His own.
I like to believe He stood again.
Are you afraid?
Do you feel the tremble in your spirit?
Do you wonder if it’s still worth it to speak boldly, to carry your Bible, to preach the gospel in a world that doesn’t just disagree but wants you gone?
You’re not alone.
You’re not weak for feeling that.
But you are called to something stronger than silence.
Don’t let fear become your theology.
The cost is high. But the reward?
The reward is Christ. And He’s not a concept. He’s a King.
Heaven is not empty.
It is filled with scarred saints who refused to bow to fear.
Men who were stoned.
Women who were burned.
Children who sang while the flames climbed.
And every last one of them arrived.
There is no difficulty that can cancel the promise of God.
There is no persecution that can derail your destination.
There is no sniper’s bullet that can separate a soul from Christ.
Your life is not measured by how long you live on earth, but by how much of it was spent pointing to heaven.
Paul said, “I have fought the good fight… I have kept the faith.”
Then he looked toward the reward.
Not a monument. Not a mention in history books.
But a crown.
Handed to him by the One with nail marks still in His hands.
So let me say this clearly.
We do not mourn like the world mourns.
We do not write eulogies dripping with sentiment.
We sing songs of resurrection.
We carry the banner of a Kingdom that does not tremble.
Charlie Kirk did not die for nothing.
He died carrying the same message you and I must now carry forward.
The cross stands tall.
The tomb is still empty.
And the gospel has not lost one ounce of power.
So pick up your cross.
Wipe your eyes.
And keep going.
The crown is worth it.
The King is coming.
And there’s still time to speak.
Even if they shoot.
Lord, give us courage.
And if not safety, give us joy.
For we carry not just the message, but the marks.
And You are worth every bruise.
Temptation traced me to my office. 😂😂
A Thread!!
Some years ago, we were recruiting for a role in our church office. Everything was set, the interviews were done, the assessments were passed, and the final stage was for the candidate to see me before resuming.
Happy birthday Dada @gideonodoma
In your light I see light🙌🏼
Thank you for watching over us. Thank you for speaking over us. Thank you for loving us.
God bless you always, and in all things. More freshness in Jesus name. We love you forever sir ❤️🎂🍾🥂
Happy birthday to My Apostle.
Even if you are not an Apostle to others, you are to me.
I know where I was when you found me.
Thank you for everytime, my Father.
Thank you because I have a model I can look up to.
I said it years back. I still say it again today:
"I am, because you are"
Happy birthday, My Apostle @gideonodoma
POVERTY ERADICATION BY FAITH
FIRST
Christianity is synonymous with NEITHER material poverty nor material wealth.
When we say preachers should not fixate on material wealth in their preaching and lifestyle... that they should not say or imply that it is a sin to be poor, it is because Jesus gives us no reason to preach or live like that.
GOSPEL FOCUS
No saint in the New Testament was told s/he was wrong for being poor. Sure, the NT church included many poor saints. The material or financial category was just not in the line of gospel focus. Rich or poor, everyone needs the gospel. And when you receive the gospel, you're changed from sinner to saint. A saint, by definition, is neither a rich nor poor person. A saint is one who has been saved by God's grace from sin and eternal damnation.
Since material wealth is not a gospel emphasis, all saints are to be discipled to serve as their estate would allow. Meaning, rich saints should do what ought to be done with material riches in kingdom service. Poor saints should do what can be done for God in poverty. And from the Corinthian corpus, we know poor saints, even they, can do a lot for God, including giving financially.
KINGDONOMICS
God wants you to give out of what you have, whether big or small. It is really a heart, a value, and a proportion matter. Proportion refers to the stash you give from, not simply the cash you give. Therefore, a one thousand Naira offering out of a ten thousand naira possession is more – before God – than giving ten million naira, out of your one billion naira balance. This was clarified by Jesus, per the widow of Mark twelve.
In fact, this proportion issue is a practical reason why tithing may be encouraged, even though it is not a New Testament requirement. It helps the rich and the poor never fall below an objective level, in their generosity toward God. The objectivity here is grounded by proportion, not volume. A rich saint does not give more in tithe than a poor saint who tithes. This is why the NT advocates generosity, not sheer volume. Anyway, I digressed...
TIMELINE
To my point, Jesus came to solve our core problem, namely, sin. The awful consequences of that primary problem, like sickness, famine, poverty, human/natural evil, domination, physical death, etc, will be completely erased in the eschaton, not before then.
The Bible itself tells us why these consequences would not be totally squashed just yet. Once you take time to grasp the logic of that framework, you'd see how brilliant it is. Of course, since it's of God, it must be brilliant. I can't go into it now, but here is a clue: The kingdom of God IS HERE, but the kingdom of God is NOT YET HERE. These two assertions are biblically grounded. When the kingdom of God comes in its fullness, there will be no poverty at all therein.
TO RE-PHRASE
The gospel does not encourage you to be poor. But it nowhere says you should aspire to be materially wealthy. It commands you to be diligent, resourceful, responsible, and faithful... serving God as you are ABLE.
MORE
Therefore, if you think you need more money to DO MORE for God, you are manifestly wrong. Every single one of us can DO MORE in our current estate, than we actually DO. More money may mean you can engage in a DIFFERENT LINE of service for God, but more cash is not necessary for MORE SERVICE (for instance, see the "day & night" of Luke two, verses thirty-six & thirty-seven).
FINALLY
Whatever God 'could' do and did do, without Jesus coming into the world is NOT the main reason Jesus came into the world.
God did not send His son into the world so that you can be materially poor or rich. Jesus came so that, rich or poor, you'd have eternal life. Jesus came, that at last, God's justice in saving sinners (before the Incarnation) may be made manifest, and that He – at once – can be both just and the justifier of all who obey Him.
This is the Gospel: Jesus came so that dead men might live! Not so that broke men might blow.
Can an Unbeliever Act in a Gospel Movie?
There has been much debate about whether an unbeliever can take part in a gospel movie, with many citing The Passion of the Christ as a reference. Let’s break this down clearly.
What Is a Gospel Movie?
A gospel movie is one where the primary purpose is evangelism, with entertainment being secondary as a tool for the primary. This is why we use the term “evangetainment.” The main goal is to win souls for Christ, while secular movies primarily focus on generating revenue from viewership.
To better understand the issue, let’s categorize those involved in movie production into two groups:
Those behind the camera (e.g., cinematographers, sound engineers, gaffers, script managers, production managers, etc.).
Those in front of the camera (actors, speakers, and on-screen representatives of the message).
Using the church as a metaphor, those behind the camera are like the bricklayers, welders, and painters who build a church building. Whether they are believers or not does not affect the final outcome as long as the structure serves its purpose. In the same way, hiring professional crew members for production—regardless of their faith—does not directly impact the message being delivered.
However, the same cannot be said for those on camera. The moment an actor steps in front of the camera in a gospel movie, they become a representative of the message. Their role is similar to a preacher standing on the pulpit—they are speaking to souls about the gospel. An unbeliever stepping into that role would be like someone who openly denies Christ one day and then stands to proclaim Him the next. The inconsistency is glaring.
Yes, some individuals live double lives—appearing holy on stage while living in sin privately—but even this deception proves there is an expected standard. Pretending to be righteous only highlights that doing otherwise is an anomaly.
Are There Exceptions?
Absolutely. God can use exceptions to accomplish His purposes in unique situations. However, exceptions do not replace the standard. Eg.
-Hosea marrying a harlot (Hosea 1:2-3)
-Isaiah told to walk naked for three years (Isaiah 20)
-The instant death of Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5)
-A donkey speaking to Balaam etc
These instances were exceptions, not the standard. Likewise, The Passion of the Christ was a powerful film that God used to spark a revival, but it was an exception, not a standard.
It’s important to note that The Passion of the Christ did not feature A-list Hollywood actors. This was a deliberate choice by the director to ensure that the focus remained on the message rather than the actors. Seeking out “unbelieving professionals” solely for their talent or celebrity status is already a misplaced motive.
In Exodus, God anointed specific craftsmen to build the Tabernacle (Exodus 31:1-6). This was a sacred, highly visible role, and those chosen were filled with the Spirit of God for the task. Similarly, there are actors whom God has specifically anointed to use their gift for His glory in gospel films.
Final Thoughts
Using actors who are not grounded in the Word of God poses significant spiritual risks—something I will address in a separate write-up. However, the key takeaway here is this:
Being on camera in a gospel movie is not merely a performance; it is a ministry. Just as an unbeliever cannot stand on a pulpit to preach, they should not take on roles meant to communicate the gospel in a film. God has already anointed individuals for this work—our responsibility is to find and equip them, rather than compromise the message for the sake of professionalism or fame.
That said, we must emphasize that we do not hate unbelievers. They are loved by God, and we are called to reach out to them with the message of salvation. However, not all platforms are meant for everyone. Just as a medical professional is required to have the necessary qualifications to practice medicine, certain roles within the kingdom require spiritual alignment. Our desire is not to exclude but to uphold the integrity of the gospel message.
@FBN_help Kindly note that the feedback from your team is misleading! The mobile app says the transaction was unsuccessful. I have the provided session ID to Moniepoint and they sent email/receipt to show transaction failed. You guys are being insincere. @cenbank needs to wade in!
How can the system in which the people seek Justice be so Criminal?
Dele Farotimi Called It and the script plays itself right before our eyes!!!
Oppressors have completely taken over the country and you can now be the Aggrieved, Judge and Jury all at once in Nigeria.
You guys need to stop attaching the gospel to money, health and happiness. That's an American mistake.
Those things are common grace. You can't impress the world with what God has given all men richly to enjoy.
Instead, Tell them that riches in this world is not the best thing that can happen to a man. Poverty and sickness are not the worst things that can happen to a man. Even death is not the worst thing that can happen to a man.
Let them know that just as they can see this world exists, another will come. We will all die and we will see that next world.
It's quite irrational to realise that this world exists and somehow be confident that another one won't. As if you were part of those that decided this one would and the next one wouldn't.
In the next life, people will see what is worse than sickness and poverty. In that world men will see what is more satisfying than riches. That life is realer than this one.
On that day, the thing that is worse than poverty and sickness will make those that endure it beg for sickness and poverty if it will only save them from it.
On that day, those who find that reward that is more satisfying than money and health will be grateful for their sickness and poverty; if that is what made them enter that reward.
On that day, people will awake to that life and this world will feel like a dream. The experiences will be no more than memories on the fringes of the mind and all the suffering will feel like a mere nightmare from which you recover in a moment.
On that day some will be clothed with immortality and they will never be afraid again. Others will go into a torment and the worst part of it will be the hopelessness, the fact that they will never ever come out of it.
Tell them, we are sure of these things that we have never seen because someone who has died and seen it came and told us. He has proven Himself and we believe Him.
Let them know that the ressurection of Jesus happened. As far as facts go, it's as dependable as fact as anything anyone can be sure of. Let them know that the facts of his death and ressurection are so strong that if you deny it, there aren't many things you can trust to be true.
The only person to die and come has promised that His people will follow his steps. They will die and they will rise again to a reward that absolutely makes everything they endure here to be worth it.
Let them know, this man Jesus offers to pay for their sins. Because the just and Holy God will not allow any evil person go scot free.
And let them know they're evil, depraved sinners.
Let them know they must pay for what they've done in this world. Let them know that their money and health won't save them from paying for all the evil they've done.
And they cannot balance out their evil by charity and good works. Evil is evil and they must receive their sentence.
And if they laugh that there's nothing after this world, leave them. If they say they will die and go into the dark nothing, leave them.
Dust your shoes and move. One day they will die and they will see.
But pray for them that they will understand what the Man that died and rose again said in Matt 10:28
"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell."
And he says..
"For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? For what can a man give in return for his soul?"
SAINTS!
Ever. Don't borrow money from loan apps. In this country, they're a curse. There's never a good cause to use them.
Delete them from your phone. Yes, please. 🙏🏼
Thank you.
You heard me. Go over there, delete them. All of them. Yes, do it now. Please.
You'll be fine.
