We ❤️ #bitcoin, we ❤️ standards & we believe it's about time to seriously challenge the centralized exchange system.
Today, we are setting a standard for decentralized exchange: Layer-3, built on @lightning & @ConnextNetwork.

Recording from yesterday's community call is up!
We talked about the last piece missing for taproot activation, saw a demo of our new desktop app 🖥️ and a pretty cool upcoming feature @Boltzhq that allows you to swap USDT without requiring ETH 🔥

RTL Release v0.10.1
Major new additions:
- Integration of swap service by @Boltzhq
- Simplified service configuration of Boltz/Loop
- UTXO mgmt tools e.g. labeling, leasing and flagging of dust UTXOs (< 1k sats)
- New login page, designed by @uxerik_

While everyone seems busy debating bulls'n'oxen, here a short update straight outta Boltz headquarters to give y'all an overview of what's brewing 🍻:
We are doubling down on improving UX for our cross-chain swaps.
This mainly translates to NO.MORE.DEALING.WITH.GAS
A thread👇
.@1inchExchange stop being sketchy and verify your Router contract on etherscan that every single trade goes through
this shit is abhorrent and you deserve to be called out.

Anyone here following @exchange_union ?
xud looks like a nice implementation of @OpenDexNetwork protocol allowing Layer 2 atomic swaps between LTC <-> BTC <-> ETH (and ERC20)
@JamesSpediacci Unpopular opinion: That would be pretty bad for everyone. More trusted synthetic wrapped tokens and an even more unusable ETH1.
Swaps should work cross-chain; coins/tkns only exist+settle on their native chain. Defi on ETH should use ETH tokens. Things like wBTC are a time bomb.
@lightcoin@CurrencyTycoon@RyanSAdams Indeed there is no reliable (central) place to measure order book liquidity. To be fair, we are still early and definitely well below UniSwap.
Just would want to make sure to not wake up last ;)
@ErikVoorhees@AriDavidPaul You may be interested in connecting with @OpenDexNetwork if you aren't familiar already. The community there is building a Layer 2 cross-chain atomic-swap DEX with support already for Lightning and Connext.
