Imma come clean though when Jeezy said “if it’s taking too long to lock up bring it back” that shit flew over a lot of people’s heads … that was heavy , and most people still don’t know what he meant by that.
Whenever I see these videos, I can't help asking myself: why is it okay for me get the worst of you for marrying you? Yet for everybody else, you put in effort. You dress nice. You work out. But I, that you claim to love, you can only spare the worst bits of you. Why?
While there are indeed some amazing designers on here, it’s almost like a LinkedIn. I created this account recently to publish my designs and connect with others, I’ve quickly realized that the community is less about design, more about that perception. Still great people
Since I joined X, one thing has been bothering me.
Everything feels a bit fake.
People comment “amazing work” on designs that are clearly not good, just to get comments back.
I’ve never been that type.
When someone asks me for feedback, I’m brutally honest.
And I expect the same in return.
If you tell me “your typography isn’t good,”
I’ll think about it, learn, and fix it next time.
Feedback is the best thing in design.
When you have people who tell you the truth, you grow faster than you ever could alone.
I know that because I spent 3 years in a design community in Serbia.
Surrounded by mentors and designers who gave real feedback, not fake compliments.
And even Framer rejecting my templates helped me grow.
Every rejection pushed me to learn, change strategy, and get a little bit better every single day.
