Can the incoming Greenberg administration fix Louisville's open records woes?
Mayor-elect Greenberg tells me the turnaround times on open records are "unacceptable" and his administration will work to add open records staff. My latest for @leoweekly: https://t.co/e7c2q4aOUJ
Forest Gregg has created maps that make it possible to see how each of Michigan’s two largest power companies stack up against each other in terms of the frequency of power outages, how long they last, and who is affected.

For some reason Louisville crime data has gone from being published daily to now only monthly. This is really disappointing. We should not be going backwards.

While Robby Mills is in the news this week, you can pretty easily see his stance on a variety of policy issues à la his voting record from the most recent legislative session.
Just find him in the dropdown menu of the vote tracker I made. https://t.co/cDtPeemQTh
@MichaelMobility@BillHollander@DanBorsch@KYTC@WLKYMark Several trees are on KYTC's desirable specimen list. Not clear if the remove rec is based on Lamar's objective or long term health of tree. They're in poor condition now, but could their health have improved with care? Also don't see any mitigation in approval at first glance.
This is a great project from @oliviakrauth, I've thought about doing this in years past but getting the data to fill in the map was a very daunting task. I'm glad the pros are on it!

Incredible, fantastic job by @Hicks_JustinM on a searchable database that shows how Kentucky lawmakers made their final votes on important bills in the 2023 session. Don't know who your lawmaker is? He's got you covered there too. Go check it out! https://t.co/fWwKEdJrTo
SB 62 and HB 207, filed earlier this week, create new exceptions to the open records law—one for personal information & the other for internal police communications, respectively—and have been assigned to committees. SB 62 to State and Local Government and HB 207 to Judiciary.
It's not super easy to find code complaints and other information on landlords/apartments in Louisville.
So I put together this guide on things you can check before (or after) renting.
If I missed a resource, let me know!!
