AI Sovereignty discussions have shifted as we discuss a Stack and "layered sovereignty." It often follows the NVIDIA 5-layered cake 🍰 . There's a shift from companies building frontier models (whether open or closed) to individuals and innovators building the infrastructure layer, Agentic Harness and Dev Tools which are generally open source and increasingly being shared and collaborated on via GitHub. 🛠️

NVIDIA's new Open Secure AI Alliance for AI Safety and Security, sees primarily US-based members representing large corporates not the open source ecosystem building the infrastructure layer. 🌍 OpenUK CEO, Professor @AmandaBrockUK tells @UKTN's @oscar_hornstein it's great to see a collective response to the open source security challenge, but "If we want a place at the future dinner table for AI, we need to carve out our own place now," she says, built on the UK's own IP, technologies and foundation, not just borrowed assets. 🍽️
