I have heard it all my life. Democrats are fighting for PEOPLE. Republicans are fighting for POWER. To be honest, I don't know anyone who can afford to be a Republican.
It’s pretty hard to blame the Democrats for people not getting SNAP benefits when the Republican president is fighting in court to make sure people don’t get SNAP benefits.
Remember when Donald Trump said there would be people standing in bread lines trying to get food if Kamala Harris won?
People are standing in line for food in Cleveland because of Donald Trump.
It’s always pure projection.
Trump is transparently trying to get a predominantly Black city in a blue state to have a violent reaction to federal troops so he can justify being violent with us. Don’t fall for it!
Mr. President: Read the Constitution.
The function of the U.S. military is to protect us from FOREIGN enemies, not Portland, OR.
In this country we have local and state police for law enforcement, not federal troops.
Stop deploying the U.S. army against Americans.
The real issue isn’t left vs right.
It’s not white vs black.
It’s not citizen vs immigrant.
It’s not gay vs straight.
The real issue is that a lot of powerful people have a vested interest — and a lot of money invested — in dividing us, and it’s working.
It shouldn't get lost that just today, Senate Republicans have voted to close nursing homes, close rural hospitals, and cut food stamp benefits for children and veterans.
