Ollie Millroy has five broken ribs, a broken collar bone, a broken hand and finger, and a bruised lung. He will go into surgery tomorrow to "put everything back where it should be", he explained. The FIST Team AAI squad is with him in hospital.
He doesn't remember anything from the thirty seconds before the crash and the one hour after it, but he will "remember Loek's incredible act of bravery for the rest of my life".

Max: "Yeah, it's a shame. I had a better feeling in FP3, but right as I headed out, something was wrong with the car. It’s happened a lot this season; running into issues either during a session or between sessions, where something breaks. It’s something different every time. That was the problem in qualifying again."
Loek Hartog has shared: "When I saw a car turning into a huge fireball far ahead, there wasn't really a decision to make. From what I had seen, I genuinely believed the driver might not be able to get out by himself. I stopped, got out and went towards the car. There was never a moment of doubt."
"And reflecting on it afterwards, I'm grateful for the people I've had around me throughout my life and career who have taught me to recognize when something is bigger than racing and to live in the present. This is what living in the present is like", he continues. "It was scary. There were moments where I didn't know if I would actually be able to get Ollie out. But this isn't about what I did, and I'm sure many people in the same position would have reacted exactly the same way."
Hartog concludes: "Today could have ended very differently. I'm incredibly grateful that it didn't."

Red Bull has signed experienced engineer Tom McCullough as its new head of racing for the start of 2027.
McCullough had been a key figure at the Aston Martin F1 team throughout its many identities before he was moved into a role with its performance division.
He looks set to be a direct replacement for Gianpiero Lambiase, who will join McLaren by 2028 at the latest. #F1.
