All Saints Catholic Church’s youth group had a ton of energy and got a lot of good work done for Ms. Betty! We are so thankful that they spent the day with us learning about building ramps and building relationships with their community!

Shout out to UTK’s Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity! We have had the pleasure of working with this fraternity a handful of times, with this being their most recent project. They knocked out two ramps in one afternoon. We love getting to work with our college teams!

We welcome all types of volunteer groups to serve through Operation Backyard. If you aren’t part of a large group, that doesn’t mean you can’t serve. Gather your family together and we'll find the perfect project for you. Its a great way to connect with people in our community!

Fountain City United Methodist youth group came out to help build a ramp for Ms. Barbara so she can get in and out of her house. They got to spend time learning about construction and more importantly forming relationships!

It was amazing to meet Jimmy and Carol over the summer. They welcomed this out-of-town team and took the time to get to know the students. At first just a few students came in to talk to Jimmy, but soon everyone wanted to squeeze in to have a devotion during their lunch break!

Crew leaders are an essential part of our ministry because they lead volunteer teams through construction projects for our community. Crew leaders are volunteers who serve anywhere from 10 hours to over 100 hours a year, and we couldn’t do what we do without them.
