A simple 3-step framework for trading SPX 0DTE credit spreads:
1️⃣ Identify the best time of day
2️⃣ Follow the current trend
3️⃣ Sell strikes near the expected move
That’s the core idea behind the Trend Spread Engine framework we’ve been using for SPX 0DTE trading.
Quick breakdown in the video below 👇@alphacrunching
If you think the government spends money wisely and that taxes should be higher, there is literally nothing stopping you from sending them extra money voluntarily.
Jeff Bezos: "If people want me to pay more billions, then let's have that debate, but don't pretend that that's gonna solve the problem. You could double the taxes I pay, and it's not gonna help that teacher in Queens.... Airbnb isn't causing high rents. What's really causing high rent is government intervention."
Beware the empathy exploit.
Empathy is good and right when thought through (deep), but can be deadly to civilization when simply stimulus-response (shallow).
For example, releasing a repeat violent offender may feel good at first (shallow empathy for the criminal), but it is wrong to do so when that person will go on to hurt or murder innocent victims, as there should be deep empathy for future victims.
Food for thought: A $10M call buy can be a bearish stock-replacement trade
Worth thinking about what I state above before you "follow the whale."
If a big call purchase is a stock replacement trade, is it bullish or is it bearish?
It's actually bearish, right? Because the guy's reducing his delta. The motivation for an insto to buy a big call option, which to you looks like "oh my God, someone just spent $10 million of premium," might be because he just sold $200 million of stock and now he's replacing it with calls.
Let's say I'm an institution. I've got $200 million of stock, I've run it up, I've made money. Let's say I bought it at the lows at $150, and now I'm looking at this resistance at $210 going, we might just reject it again. I don't want to give all my money back.
So I bank the $200 million of stock. And I spend some of the money I made, maybe $10 million on some calls in case the thing wants to fly. That gets me back into my position.
To you, you're going to see that as a bullish insto flow, but it's not at all a bullish insto flow. It's quite a bearish one. Because the guy is banking stock he's owned since 40% ago and going from 100% delta long to maybe only 30%.
That's the problem with reading flow off the tape. You're not going to see the stock sale. You're just going to see the call buys...

Gold has been all over the place in 2026. War premium, ceasefire swings, CPI spikes. But day-to-day on 0DTE expiration? GLD has been surprisingly rangebound — and 0DTE condors have quietly had a great year because of it. We tested several setups. They're all pretty good.
🔥NEW: Clarence Thomas — full remarks on progressivism, its foundations, history, and impact from his appearance at University of Texas at Austin:
“Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, and Mao were all intertwined with the rise of progressivism, and all were opposed to the natural rights on which our Declaration is based.”
"Many progressives expressed admiration for each of them shortly before their governments killed tens of millions of people."
"It comes as no surprise that the progressives embraced eugenics... It was only a small step for Wilson to resegregate the federal workforce."
"It was only another step for the government to launch sterilization programs on those deemed by the experts of the day to be unfit to reproduce."
“European thinkers have long criticized America for remaining trapped in a Lockean world, with its weakened, decentralized government and strong individual rights. They say our 18th-century Declaration has prevented us from progressing to higher forms of government."
"But we were fortunate not to trade our Lockean bonds for the supposedly enlightened world of Hegel, Marx, and their followers. Fascism, which after all was national socialism, triggered wars in Europe and Asia that killed tens of millions."
"The socialism of the Soviet Union and the People’s Republic of China proceeded to kill tens of millions more of their own people. This is what happens when natural rights give way to higher-good notions of history or progress, or, as Thomas Sowell has written, the visions of the anointed."
"None of this, of course, was an improvement on the principles of the Declaration. Tocqueville's Democracy in America is largely about how America owed its superiority over Europe to its conscious decision to reject central planning and administrative rule, root and branch."
"Progressivism, in other words, is retrogressive.”
