UPDATE: Mike Lindell has released an 18-page document outlining his "immigration reform policy"

The document, which repeatedly refers to illegal aliens as "undocumented immigrants," explicitly presents Lindell's plan as an "alternative to mass deportations."

The plan would give all illegal aliens without a criminal conviction a 6-month window to obtain a "Worker Visa Card," which it says is "specifically designed for the existing undocumented population as a permanent noncitizen work authorization."

The plan calls for the immediate deportation of those with a gross misdemeanor or felony conviction.

Hate to say it, but this is a deal breaker. You probably just cost yourself whatever chance you had. I could be wrong, of course. But I don't think I am.

Understand that amnesty is not an option. Not anymore, it isn't. That ship hath sailed.

The fact is that we've been screwed over too long and for too long for carve-outs and accommodations like this that reward people here illegally—active criminal or not.

And, BTW. Just crossing the border is a federal misdemeanor (which is a crime, btw).

Oh, and we know that a large percentage of them have been illegally gaining access to govt benefits while here. Not to mention the amount of ID theft implicit in getting a job (stolen SSN's, etc.).

Furthermore, it would be a nightmare trying to determine eligibility on a case-by-case basis given the fact that there are likely +75 million of them here... more if you ask Bovino. He says the real number is just north of 100 million. Either way would take a century to sort out, and ain't no one have the patience or appetitite for that.

Granted, that's the country I'm talking about, and you're just focused on Minnesota. I get that. But we're beyond this being a local/state matter. This needs to be addressed at the national level, by the Federal Government... and they've all gotta go.

I realize you think it's the right thing to do, but that doesn't mean that it is, OR that the rank-and-file GOP voter will agree with you.
