So I tested the limit directly on Bitcoin mainnet.

A concrete demonstration of the difference between:
• the on-chain transaction graph
• a node’s local mempool cluster
• transaction propagation across different infrastructures
• transaction selection by miners
There is still a massive amount of unexplored experimental surface on Bitcoin L1.
Watching @LeonidasNFT suddenly talk about covenants, entropy, and technical education, then position himself as Bitcoin’s savior, is pretty spectacular.
For years, you denounced the sectarianism of Knots while reproducing the exact same behavior inside the metaprotocol market:
Runes as the one true protocol. BRC-20 as the enemy to destroy. Communities forced to pick a side.
Sectarianism does not bother you. It only bothers you when you are not the one controlling the church.
Runes had a historic opening. BRC-20 had already proven the demand while leaving an enormous vacuum behind. You could have built a much more ambitious vision: UTXO-native assets, trust-minimized markets, applications anchored to Bitcoin, PSBTs, DLCs, Taproot Assets, and eventually covenants.
Even @rodarmor acknowledged that Runes could become a serious competitor to Taproot Assets and RGB. But you only amplified the first half of the pitch:
“Built for degens and memecoins.”
Instead of raising the narrative, you imported the memecoin-supercycle playbook copy paste of @MustStopMurad and solana reasoning :
A ticker, a cult, an army, and a permanent war against every neighboring protocol.
Plenty of noise. Plenty of tribal marketing. Plenty of promises.
Very little vision beyond the next cycle.
And now, with no original idea left, you are copying the playbook of your sworn enemy, @LukeDashjr :
An alternative client, a moral crusade, and calls to purge people from Bitcoin’s “social layer” three years late, with the politics reversed.
You are not fighting the disorder. You are simply asking to become its administrator.
I am agnostic when it comes to Bitcoin metaprotocols. I like Runes, and I like BRC-20 and I’ll support the metaprotocols real innovation that come next too.
Because innovation does not stop wherever you decide it should.
The infrastructure has evolved. The technology has moved forward.
And all of you left behind a massive void.
That is exactly the point.
Bitcoin does not need another priesthood especially not a memecoin priesthood that suddenly discovers covenants when it is time to reposition its market.
