Period education is very important at this stage because it equips young girls with accurate information and helps them make informed decisions about their health. This has become a yearly tradition for me & I hope to continue spreading the menstrual hygiene gospel ✨
The UNICEF U-report team visited Olokuta secondary school to commemorate Menstrual Hygiene Day, where we spoke to the students about menstrual hygiene, introduced them to different menstrual products, answered their questions, and distributed sanitary pads.
Happy and grateful to have been selected as a @UNICEF Young Peer Educator and to also attend the @UNICEF_Nigeria Capacity Building Workshop for Young Peer Educators, held at the UN Office last week.
