In these poems, I slice and dice America's home-grown oligarchs and their political pawns, grieve over rampant environmental carnage, and reflect on war, its enablers, and its tragic outcomes — yet, despite all the gloom and doom, I close on a note of high hope for the future.

Rather than simply detailing Trump's misdeeds, evil intentions, and failings, I employ wit and satire to drive home salient points, and choose traditional forms — sonnet, villanelle, terza rima, ballade supreme, Keatsian ode, pantoum — to add weight to various themes.
