Step by step, crossing rivers, deserts & borders, because getting indigenous voices to #COP30 shouldn’t feel like a survival mission. Support our walk to Belém, Brazil. 🌍✊

Tomorrow, we begin our journey — on foot — to Brazil for #COP30! 🌍✊
We refuse to be excluded. We refuse to stay silent while decisions are made about us, without us, even as we face the harshest impacts of #ClimateChange

🌍 Tired of begging to be included.
This year’s #COP30 risks excluding frontline & indigenous voices again, because of high travel costs.
So we’re TAKING ACTION.
If it means walking to Brazil, then so be it.

10 of us.
Young indigenous leaders from our Enkang’ village in Kenya.
Symbolically walking to COP30 in Belém, Brazil,
Because we shouldn’t have to fight this hard to be seen.
#WalkToCOP30#ClimateJustice
We’re not just showing up.
We’re walking with purpose:
🗣️ To speak at high-level events
🌱 To showcase our Enkang’ climate solutions
🎶 To represent in our language, through story, song, and presence.
For too long, grassroots & indigenous communities have been locked out of decision-making spaces , even when we are the ones most impacted.
COP30 is no different.
We face visa barriers, no funding, no invitations, just exclusion.
The least developed countries and island states - the moral voices of climate justice - have walked out of the talks as they refuse to be associated with a text that will undermine climate action for the next decade
#NoDealIsBetterThanABadDeal
Our #ClimateJustice song is a powerful advocacy tool, amplifying the demands of frontline communities for climate justice! We stand in solidarity, calling for TRILLIONS 💸—not BILLIONS—in climate finance! #COP29Azerbaijan
Ensuring girls in schools have the essentials for their health and dignity. Together, we can fight period poverty and promote menstrual health in times of disasters like floods that devastate.

Thank you for the opportunity! Looking forward to a collaboration that will benefit our grassroot communities facing the brutal impacts of climate change! KIYIEU NABOISHO 🤝 #lossanddamage#lossanddamagefund#climatechange
The youth-led NGO is willing to partner with the three Counties through the Bloc so as to seek climate change injustice funds aimed to build climate resilience of the pastoralists.
We are marking this International Zero Tolerance day for FGM by reaffirming our commitment to joining the fight geared towards reducing & curbing instances of Female Genital Mutilation through our Enkang’ model for gender equality that will serve as a safe home for young girls at
pastoralism alongside ensuring our key concerns are heard in key national, regional & global conferences/events.
📝Our shared goal towards➡️ Sustainable pastoralist communities(sasal) & Modulated Pastoralism (county) is possible through this collaboration. #agriculture
💫We had an incredible & above all productive meeting with the CECM for Water, Environment & Natural Resources-Kajiado County, Hon Dr. Leina Mpoke & his Chief Officer Mr Ngugi.
📝The purpose of the meeting was to delve on our ongoing partnership with the county and discuss more
on our shared activities this year.
✨As children of this county, above everything else, our vision is to see Kajiado County spearheading climate change action as one of the counties dissproportionately affected by it. We hope to, together be vocal & champion for sustainable..
