Sitting high in the lush, vibrant treetops of the Costa Rican cloud forest, the resplendent quetzal slowly scans its favorite buffet tree for the perfect bite-sized avocado. Once it finds the right one, the magic of its unique flight begins.
It launches from the perch, maneuvering its painted body through a maze of branches before delicately crashing into its target.
Using a combination of wing power and gravity, it plucks the tiny fruit from the branch and begins its incredible descent into the forest below.
Watching them fall through the canopy is like witnessing a midair ballet—graceful, fluid, and perfectly choreographed—ending with the performer gliding offstage to the right.

And in that quiet moment—wings outstretched, disappearing into the trees—you realize not everything in life has to move so fast.
