Progressives won’t back down on delivering paid leave, education, health care, child care, and climate action because of an arbitrary deadline.
We’re sticking to our deal and delivering for the people.

This evening I'm joining my friend Chuck O’Neal for a livestream and we’ll answer important questions about #FL5 and how this will protect Florida's environment.
"The American people are suffering for no good reason. They're being gaslighted. Why is it that the U.S. is the only industrialized country that cannon guarantee health or childcare or family leave for its citizens?"
Me, on the lies from the 'moderates':
The governor continues to harp on a made up "border crisis" while thousands die weekly from COVID-19, the real crisis. Demonizing immigrants is a typical distraction from the rotting mess Florida is.
Instead of talking about flying cars that will never happen, the @citybeautiful can just build light and regional rail like everyone industrialized city outside of the US does.
Thank you @OrangeDemsFL for voting unanimously to support @POTUS' budget bill. Our members understand that people are facing unprecedented crises and this bill is a part of the solution.
I'm hoping this encourages @RepStephMurphy to join all other Dem leaders in supporting.
.@RepStephMurphy is one of the most conservative Democrats in the country. This is despite representing one of the most diverse, young, and working class districts in Congress. Her politics do not represent Orlando, they represent that of the her elite monied backers.
The next month or two will shape the direction of not just the Biden administration, but arguably also the course of U.S. and global politics for decades to come, write @ryangrim and @SaraLSirota. https://t.co/MmZjSz4d8G
As I looked with outrage at the footage of border agents violently rounding up Haitian refugees, I thought about how when I wrote this for the @OrlandoSentinel in 2020 many people sent me messages saying how I was absolutely wrong.
Thank you @OrangeDemsFL, representing 1 of the top 5 largest Counties in Florida, for voting unanimously tonight at the September meeting to support President Biden’s Budget bill - hopefully this encourages others such as @repstephmurphy to support as well. (1/1)
