@BR_OpenIce Colorado makes a terrible play and tries to blame the missed call for the goal. They had possession of the puck alone in the zone with literally zero pressure. All day to breakout. The puck going out of play didn’t result in the goal. That shitty turnover did.
@ThisGuyBoltsGuy You can really tell the people who’ve been around a while and the people who jumped on the Cup bandwagon. No offense to people that did, but they never really appreciated him to begin with. Hedman literally called him Mr. Perfect. He was the best Captain this team ever had.
@XxXBaylieeXxX@CoachGabeM42@BrodieBz Because the location of the stadium is just about as bad as it could possibly be. Something they aren’t fixing with the new stadium unfortunately.
@Treytac1@BrodieBz The Olympic Stadium in Montreal is also having its roof fixed and can’t host games. I’m also not sure why people think the Rays are going to leave their home market. The furthest they’ll go is Orlando imo. There are plenty of stadiums in Central Florida where they could play.
@Treytac1@Yukon_GoldRef@BrodieBz The Jays also played games in Dunedin at their spring training facility during Covid. That stadium is like 30 minutes from the Trop.
@mastrobuonis @MLBDeadlineNews Oh I’m sorry, I couldn’t detect the sarcasm through fucking text on a screen. You seemed dead serious about that stupid fucking take. Have a nice night bozo.
@danforrest56@AnthonyPFusco@JimBowdenGM They built the roof to withstand 115 mph winds. They didn’t think the roof was going to blow off. There’s no drainage in the stadium and the electronics aren’t designed for outdoor use. It’s not an outdoor stadium.
@mastrobuonis @MLBDeadlineNews An AL East team is not moving to the opposite side of the country for obvious reasons. Travel, player accommodations, fanbase, etc. there are plenty of stadium options in Tampa Bay alone for them, not to mention the rest of the state. They’re not going to Oakland.
@skol_t_rock@trentongreen94@JimBowdenGM The Rays are going to be playing outside until the Trop gets fixed or the new stadium opens. They just won’t be at Ray Jay
@JtkirkmanWF@michael_k_woods The roof was almost 40 years old and hadn’t been replaced at all. It was originally rated up to 115 mph winds when the stadium opened.
