Especially Cllr Alex Wagner. Funny how no one speaks up against the cycle infrastructure which doesn't meet government criteria. 2/2

X is dead
But I had to come back today I'm extremely disappointed in all the Shrewsbury Lib Dem and Labour councillors who won their seats supporting active travel and are now jumping on anti cyclist GB news fodder about Shrewsbury. Got on board with populism pretty quick 1/
@paul43471534 Unless I'm mistaken - state pension has always been low. Like all benefits its a safety net, not an endless cash pot for retirement.
So bearing that in mind you should have other plans for your own retirement. It's not the states responsibility.
@CharlotteCGill Except those kids will grow up to pay for your state pension and NHS. Even taking into account the cost of school it will be a net tax benefit for each child.
Don't be a fool and think your state pension is a lovely bank account holding all your payments for 50 years...
@norfolkmum1@anon_opin I think you've got it the wrong way round. Drivers and cars keep disabled people trapped at home by making roads too busy to cross safely. Pavements too narrow from selfish parking
@Dan4Burnell@BBCShropshire@ShropshireStar Did you share the traffic modelling that every road - except the A5- in Shrewsbury traffic will be worse?
Hope no one dies because of your white elephant
@Dan4Burnell @JBuckleyLabour @ShrewsLabour@BBCShropshire @RobJTrigg @ShropshireStar This is a laughable attempt. You must be getting so desperate.
Cutting back services across the whole county to save this white elephant. You'll be saying goodbye in May!!
