Technology entrepreneur Zia Chishti @Zia_Chishti_71 appeared at the Islamabad High Court on Tuesday for a scheduled bail hearing in a case he maintains is fabricated and initiated by lawyer Mustafa Ramday.

Following the hearing, an incident unfolded outside the court premises when a group of approximately twenty individuals — some in plain clothes and others in uniform — approached Chishti and attempted to escort him toward a prisoner transport vehicle.

According to witnesses present at the scene, Chishti repeatedly asked the individuals to provide the legal basis for their actions and requested to see an arrest warrant. No documentation was presented at the time.

As bystanders began recording the confrontation, the group reportedly withdrew, and Chishti was able to leave the premises without further incident.

Zia Chishti is an internationally recognised technology entrepreneur, best known as the co-founder of Align Technology, the company behind Invisalign. He has also founded multiple successful ventures and has been awarded Pakistan’s Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in recognition of his contributions.
