My favourite Sam Neill thing is when he just rips into that little kid at the beginning of Jurassic Park who doesn't actually think dinosaurs are that scary. He's personally offended that a 12 year old doesn't respect Raptors. Correctly btw. RIP
People rightly talk about the film's groundbreaking digital effects, but the heart of Jurassic Park is the scientist overwhelmed with awe at seeing the creatures he's studied his whole life alive and in the flesh. And it doesn't work unless Sam Neill sells the hell out it.
