@bjankovic@usewonder Fair point Figma's still muscle memory for exploration. But yea basically you can build everything inside Wonder without any limitation. Everything is about experience and still i didn't feel to move my entire workflow to Wonder.
Yes you are right, the marketplace should be simple but also the big problem here is the combination between marketplace and community in the same environment. They did it wrong, and now is quite separate but not to much. Also the second problem is the minimalism choice, bringing all the pages and the important ones to one dropdown is insanely annoying. They did it the same with the editor :(((
All the community interaction only works on community, but the way they build it everything in one dropdown is insane. The designer behind this approach has some real problems. @framer change they design direction to ultra minimalism 1 year ago but is so bad for ux. Even the editor become complicated for new users. And the sad part the editor is redesigned to be easy :))))))))
@framer Where are the activity and community interaction ( like, share and repost?) You wanted to make it more clear or minimal but this approach is so bad for UX. You grab all the important pages in one dropdown 😭
Visuals and taste is just a part, the value comes from understanding the product and how you can improve the UX. LLM are made with public/private data, layouts designs systems and so on. Ai can't replace humans, but will replace repetitive task and trust me there are a lot of jobs from any industries like that.
Did you know you can open a PR straight from Wonder? 👀
1. Connect your repo.
2. Wonder pulls in your components and variables.
3. Design with them on the canvas, same as always.
4. When you're done, Wonder writes the change back as a PR on its own branch, so your team reviews it in GitHub like anything else.
Code to canvas and back.
@aibek_design@usewonder I am so glad that you liked, the draw logo I took it from your old post, I converted to svg and I did some tweaks to look the same 😂😂
Wonder Editor (personal redesign concept).
UX breakdown just a 2-hour playground where I tried to push the editor toward a cleaner, darker, more focused workspace.
Big respect to the @usewonder team. The idea here is not to replace their direction, but to show how I personally imagine the editor feeling from a visual and interaction perspective.
I’ll also share the Figma file for anyone who wants to explore the concept.
