Next week fire staff will begin pile burning operations along Dinner Lake Road located 10 miles southeast of Watersmeet. Burning will continue when resources are available, and as weather conditions allow. Signs will be posted along the roadway.

Last week, Ottawa employees utilized an air curtain burner to incinerate brush piles out at Camp Nesbit. Air curtain burners can be used as an alternative to traditional pile burning, providing a nearly smokeless, safer, and more efficient way to get the job of pile burning done!
