This is Surrealist artist Andre Masson's 'Flying fish'. Andre Masson was a French painter who experimented with altered states of consciousness with artists such as Miro, Dubuffet and Malquine who were neighbours of his studio in Paris.

A lovely lemony detail from this Old Master painting attributed to Joris Van Son. We were thrilled to be asked by @adflfairs if they could use the painting for this year's advertising campaign for the Petworth Art and Antiques fair and we were delighted to accept.

This is a design by the Bloomsbury Group artist Duncan Grant of 'Daphne'. Duncan Grant was a British painter and designer, multiskilled in textiles, pottery, theatre sets and costume designs. ⁣
