@francessmith A question that is worrying me is would Digwa have been convicted of murder had there not been evidence to show the racism claim was a lie? If Digwa had been believed then would he have avoided the murder conviction & would the dead Norwak be demonised by the media & politicians?

I was expecting this second 'kirpan' to be more curved. There seems to be some debate on whether it was legal for him to carry it. How many are doing it now?
