Yes, Trump's transition team was included as was necessary, but the idea that Trump or his team somehow saved the day is idiotic.

@thedragonLML Correct. We don't have a leftist party. Only a centrist party and a far-right party. But having the far-right win is way, way worse of an outcome.

Do you not think of Trump as threat to the future of this country as a democracy? I don't see how anyone on the left can think that.

@thedragonLML I'm not arguing that the Democrats did a good job. I'm arguing that it no longer matters because we won't have that option anymore. The Republicans won't listen to anyone on the left about anything.

@thedragonLML I very much disagree. Being unable to prevent something is not the same as supporting it. And we are essentially trading out a party that is not able to prevent a lot of the harm inflicted by the GOP for the party that is actively inflicting the harm.

@thedragonLML The point was to avoid the genocide that is now incoming. Trans people will be targeted. Leftists will be targeted. Migrants will be rounded up and sent to camps. Abortion rights will disappear. And the military will be used against protestors. This is the worst-case scenario.
