OUSC sadly announces the passing of Bessie Lamonica. As a club founder, director, and life member, Bessie was the matriarch of soccer in Oceanside. The LIJSL Hall of Famer was instrumental in bringing girls soccer to Long Island. Our deepest condolences go out to Bessie’s family.

As of March 13, OUSC is suspending all soccer activities. LIJSL has suspended all their activities through mid-April, at which time they will reassess and advise how they are proceeding, with an eye toward starting the season the last weekend of April.
