Hollywood is finally re-learning the lesson it learned 50 years ago: playing it safe with big budget films bores audiences. Give the younger creatives with new ideas a smaller budget to make something different.
It's literally what gave us Star Wars in 1977.
@CleoLovesLucie Any movie bombing is not good for the industry. There might be a good idea for a remake of an animation in the future that may not get funding because this movie did badly, for example. You gotta hope for at least mild successes. So theatres and film crews can thrive.
