El Paso Elsewhere is a real gem. Excellent dialogue and cutscenes, moreish gameplay and a ludicrous soundtrack. Genuinely insane. It kind of doesn’t work but at the same time it works flawlessly.

In terms of storytelling, I’m enjoying Saros so far! But Returnal is slowly becoming one of my favourites.

This goddamn astronaut is brilliant, every time I spot this creepy bitch I can’t help but love it.

As much as I love more conventional narratives, it’s just sublime.

My time has also been spent getting my as handed to be in Saros and Returnal. Utterly brutal. Total bullshit. Hate these games. Best games ever. Incredible. Awful. Amazing. I highly recommend.

Last year I had a period where I beat Resident Evil 4 and Silent Hill 2 and thought I was finally getting around to finishing games. It’s been quite a drought since then so I’ll be focussing on finishing this one!

I’m jumping between horror short stories, Catch 22 and a giant book on Mussolini which I completely underestimated…but the point is I’m reading.

There’s been a bunch of Persona news lately so while in that High School state of mind I’ve been listening to loads of Los Campesinos!

I just love the songwriting so much, even when it’s cheesy and filled with that teenage angst it’s just so satisfying. I heartily recommend!
