Making STATIC ZERO: Post Mortem with @ArkhamDreamer
Officially a memeber of the #gamedev#indie community ! This is very much a dream i never even believed I'd be able to have, now becoming a reality.
Hope I'll be worth your while ๐
@studiopirat The fuck!!! I thought I had just peaked a fun lil' detail xD turns out you're not going subtle with it! Hadn't seen the last seconds of it.
I love it, I'm curious how's the recption on this? I have a feeling games don't talk about the Real World enough.

I also added safes - along with the ability to hack them. By the way, hacking them depends on your skill level. Yep, just like in VTMB
@RVL1389@MjTheHunter I am very much a beginner and i fond it difficult knowing where to start when trying to build complexe systems... Knowing what is scalable.
Do you have any advice on that ? Like when building an inventory system is it fist having just the pickup or first laying a database ? ^^'
City 17 in Half-Life is a masterclass in art direction. Mixing monolithic, brutalist alien architecture right into the heart of a decaying, post-Soviet European city creates a sense of dystopian dread that most games struggle to replicate. It feels hauntingly real.
