With a heavy heart I announce that my 18-year-old younger sister, Lara Sayegh, was killed today on her way from Gaza City to the south. She and my mother were reaching Egypt for safety. My angel collapsed as she was walking on the “safe route” past the Israeli checkpoint, in an area where the Israeli armed forces has long refused to allow any ambulances, cars, or other emergency response to enter. My mother, who was accompanying her from the Catholic church to Rafah, is currently in a coma as a result of the shock. She is in much need of your prayers. Lara is the second immediate family member I lost after my father, who died on December 21 2023 due to the prevention of medical care or ambulances to the church which they take refuge.
In the face of the enemy’s brutality that normalized all sorts of direct and indirect killings, we praise God as our judge and our refuge, even if we don't get much-needed justice on this earth, we will certainly do so in the afterlife when we all stand in front of Christ. Until then I will continue to fight for justice for my family and other victims of this genocide.
Today I have filed a complaint with the @UN Working Groups for Enforced Disappearances and Arbitrary Detention and Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Opinion and Expression in relation to the journalist
@ImranRiazKhan who was abducted from his home by uniformed and plain clothed members of Punjab Police yesterday evening without any legal authority.
@GovtofPakistan attacks on journalism must stop.

@SouthAsiaIndex Lots of whiny liberals cry about the Pakistan Army and all of them do the West's bidding for cash. Only a handful of people have the courage and integrity to stand up openly and face down torture and prison without bowing and without breaking. He's the foremost of that brave few
Imran Khan’s article, published in The Economist, written from the jail.
This is every Pakistani's true sentiments and the truth, written by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

“I face almost 200 legal cases and have been denied a normal trial in an open court. A false-flag operation on May 9th 2023—involving, among other things, arson at military installations falsely blamed on pti—led to several thousand arrests, abductions and criminal charges within 48 hours. The speed showed it was pre-planned.”
BREAKING: Israel has now killed 12,040 Palestinian children in Gaza in 90
days.
12,040 children.
Western regimes cry crocodile tears for Ukraine while they applaud the mass murder of children in Gaza.

Despite all this, PTI remains popular, with 66% support in a Pattan-Coalition 38 poll held in December; my personal approval rating is even higher. Now the election commission, desperate to deny the party the right to contest elections, is indulging in all manner of unlawful tricks.
There is no doubt that US has a great influence on what is happening in Pakistan, as it doesn’t want anyone to oppose its foreign policies, especially in key countries in the Middle East & Africa such as 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐠𝐲𝐩𝐭 & therefore tends to the rule of the military, because they are the best ones that correspond to America's agendas, regardless of the interests of those countries.
Mr. Khan, like Morsi, didn’t go along with American policies & therefore they were doomed to prison !
Mr. Imran said before clearly:“ I made it clear that I am everyone's friend. but will not become anyone's proxy in the war ”.
Wishing #KhadijaShah a very happy birthday. Her strength dignity and resilience in the face of barbarism and injustice is an example to every #Pakistan woman.

The ruling regime in Pakistan seems tense as the elections approach, especially after the virtual meeting of PTI a few days ago, where internet speed was controlled !
This tension was manifested in the government's handling of the arrested PTI candidates, as well as the unjustified repression against a peaceful rally regarding the Baloch, who were calling for an end to their persecution.
The attention of the world to Gaza does not mean that the eyes are far away from what is happening in Pakistan, which needs to calmly deal with people as the elections approach, which will attract the world's attention very soon.
Michael…. ❗️Please say it as it is….❗️
1️⃣The Pakistani military - of which the military are central - have been trying to shut down Imran Khan and his party for the last 18 months
2️⃣They have tried to form another political party comprised of the treacherous and the cowardly.
3️⃣As part of the fascist crackdown, Khan’s name cannot even be mentioned in the news media - despite not being convicted of anything.
4️⃣There have been gross human rights abuses during this time that the so-called western ‘democracies’ have consistently ignored
5️⃣They have tried to frame Khan with almost 200 bogus cases….. and have not been able to convict him on ANYTHING for months.
6️⃣The establishment recalled and is supporting a convicted criminal - Nawaz Sharif - who they have now forgiven and all charges against his dropped.
7️⃣Khan’s support base is stronger than ever and the February elections will be contested between the PTI and the VOTE-RIGGERS - regardless of what you call them.
